After reading Ryan Cordell’s article on Facebook friends, it hit me just how many friends I have on Facebook that I’m not necessarily friends with in ‘real life’. And, as Cordell points out, my newsfeed would probably slow down a lot. I think that if I went through my Facebook friends and weeded out those who I no longer keep in contact with, not only would my newsfeed slow down but in general Facebook would probably be a lot less distracting. Cutting down on Facebook friends is definitely something to consider.
